This T-shirt is called “Keeper of the Word”. In South America, the parrot is a symbol of prosperity and connection with the divine. The Mayans saw it as a messenger of the gods, carrying important news between worlds. Its colorful feathers were even used to decorate sacred and royal objects, testifying to its privileged role in spiritual ceremonies. The runes are at the very heart of our work, the idea being to bring to the garment the symbolic strength that accompanies them. The Algiz rune is always present on each of our creations, and to accompany it we have chosen the Wunjo rune. You will find the descriptions a little further below.
The appliqués and lettering on the front are hand-cut from a square of velvet.
