This hooded dress is called “Grim Blossom.” It is a creation that references the Day of the Dead celebrations in Mexico and Latin America. The sweatshirt is decorated with a set of flowers on the front. On the back, there is a flowery skull in the style of the makeup and costumes worn during the Day of the Dead celebrations in Mexico. Runes are at the very heart of our work, the idea being to imbue the garment with the symbolic power that accompanies them. The Algiz rune is always present on each of our creations, and to accompany it we have chosen the Ansuz rune. You will find descriptions below.
The appliqués and lettering on the front are hand-cut from a square of velvet.
